She maintains a freelance business as well as her position as Senior Designer at MaineToday.com, where she has been employed since its inception in 1995.

Wendy pursued an education in graphic design at the Art Institute of Boston where she studied typography, design theory, and fine arts. She later attended the University of Massachusetts in Lowell, from which she graduated summa cum laude in 1994, with a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design.

Following a run of honors and awards of artistic and academic distinction throughout her education, she now designs award-winning print and online work. Her current skills include a thorough understanding of graphic design and GUI design for the web, fluency in HTML and CSS, expertise with development tools, meticulous project and time management, and the ability to shepherd a project from scribbles on a napkin to a beautiful and effective work of technology and art.
